... this is the mantra of the runners and walkers of the high altitude Neder-Nederland 5K walk/jog/run and 10K run. This popular and challenging road race is located in the forever unique and beautiful town of Nederland, Colorado. A charming There's magic in our little town, and we want to share it with you.
All race distances begin and end at Chipeta Park, located in downtown Nederland. There will be tea, coffee, and doughnuts at the registration area for participants. Arrive early, get checked-in, grab something to drink and take a stroll along the creek, in the park, or around town; however, be sure to be back and ready to get active before 9 am when the race is kicked off with a literal bang from the historic race canon! The event is capped by an award ceremony and a post-run party at the park complete with music, beverages, and delicious food.

This is a fun walk/run event that you can participate in whether you are a competitive runner or a stroller. Participate individually, with your family, or with a group of friends. Come for the scenery and the fresh, crisp mountain air, or just to get away. Come for the camaraderie and the social scene, or the individual challenge of participating in and completing a high altitude activity. Come to fulfill the altruist in you, or just to meet the friendly locals... just come!
Race Fee
· 5K - $25 advance / $30 race day
· 10K - $30 advance / $35 race day
· $5 discount for children 14 years & younger); seniors (64 years & older); active military (current military ID required). If you
qualify for this discount, please pay the full amount at registration. You will be reimbursed on race day when you check-in upon
showing a valid government issued picture ID card.
Online Registration
We don't charge an extra fee if you register online, so go ahead and save your spot for the race now! If this is not a good time and you're planning on returning to register closer to the race date, please remember that online registration ends at noon on Saturday, September 11.
In-store Registration
